Darkness in the mind.
"Huh?" A young Khajiit would awaken in darkness. She was alone it seemed. Nothing around her, nothing near here, not even a sliver of light, minus the small circle of
white surrounding her, not much bigger than 3 meters wide. Well, the circle was small in comparison to the darkness around her. Maybe it was circular room, with black
paint and white floors? Or it could have been a some sort of light from the ceiling that only cast light in a perfect cone shape around her? But then... there isn't
any light on the ceiling, or any light suggesting that there is a cone of light around her?
These thoughts were only leading to madness. A madness that seemed to be.. driving her insane. But not her, someone else. It would seem she wasn't really alone as a
were-cat was sneaking up behind her, whispering in her ear, "Luna, my love.. is something...
troubling you?" The words seemed to slither from the were-cats
tongue like a snake. The little girl was frozen with fear, and only barely squeaked out the words, "W.. who are you?"
"I am you. Well, I'm part of you. Just like you're part of you. We're one in the same, you see. You are the real Luna, and I am who you are now. A psychopath who lives
only to kill. We'll see a lot of eachother, I promise you."
"Wait, why don't you look like me?" Luna asked the were-cat, her voice still shaking from the beast coming up from behind.
"Well, my dearest Luna, my lovely little angel.. I am the beast that was born from your pyschosis. Well, your turning, anyways. You see, very few people can handle the
changes that happens when they become a Lycanthrope. Some people develop a mental disorder of sorts, such as dementia or temporary amnesia. You, my darling, developed
psychosis, or you turned from this sweet.. Mmm, delicious, innocent little thing..
into a psychopath." A slight giggle came from the were-cat, though it was
less cute, and more evil than one would be comfortable with. She backed away into the darkness once more, the giggle continuing, though now it seemed to come from
all around. Terrifying. Luna was alone once more in the light, or so she thought.
Luna felt uncomfortable, and she sat down on the ground, pulling her knees to her chest, holding them tightly against her. How could something like this have happened?
How could she have gone from the sweet innocent girl who loved to run around and play outside with her friends and gossip with her
cool friends at the shop in
town. Who'd have thought she could ever be.. a... what was it? A psychopath? A PSYCHOPATH??? But.. she was the innocent little girl at the end of the block. She never
did anything wrong. Ask her parents. Hell, ask her neighbors! She couldn't possibly be psychotic.
