The Robot was sent off balance as the explosion took him by surprise, and so was sent stumbling back from it. He had not encountered such sacrificial tactics in the arena, for the fight to stay alive was the entire reason for their fighting so hard. After his gyroscopes had fully accounted and allowed for him to recover his feet, he pulled his arm back-- before sending his Weighted Net straight towards Alice, with the spear snaking towards the Laser Doll as he did so. The spear stab happened as he took one step forward, his glowing eyes locked on the target the entire time. His spatial awareness would make it so the net would not miss Alice if she did not happen to move suddenly or quickly, considering would spread out at the weighted ends like some form of Octopus.
And it was not a small net, after all.

The Robot quite literally pulling up one of the planks from the stage, setting off toward the makeshift weapon in hand. He brought it down on the edge of the shield, breaking it against a doll and therefore showering their Master in splinters and slivers of wood.
