Their are a few massive ones. Beings made of pure elements that roam Europe. Their outposts fell in the beginning decades after fallout. But their reserves of food, water and fuel are highly sought after.China was the next to fall. Lack of food killed them. Their medicine and genetics allowed even more horrid creatures to arise. Ones that mutate the dead. But the medicine is what saved them for so long. Making people that don't need to eat for years. But that came with side affects. Canada and Alaska followed. Their pursuit for a large vehicular defensive force caused them to run out of fuel quick. America fell from lack of fresh water.

You don't have to worry about that though. You live on the sea. You are all part of a squadron. Or soon will be. You are RG-16187905. You will learn what that means in a little while. First you need to know what caused all this.


It was a bird.

A simple bird.

Nuclear detection systems in america accidentally charted a birds way ward course as a ICWH. Inter Continental War head. 10X stronger then the Tsar bomb. America warned their allies and retaliation. The world was destroyed in a matter of hours. Years later after coming out of the underground cities built back in 3245. It was discovered that anyone who didn't make it inside the cities. and wasn't killed by the blast mutated. Creating the Crai.

The Crai hunger for flesh yet don't seem to need to eat. They have grown claws if they are the most basic. But others have different advantages. Wings or the ability to spit poison are just a few of the many. But Humanity managed to create safe havens. The outposts. But those fell with time.

Outposts AO- 1-12. Atlantic Ocean 1 through 12 have yet to fall. They devolped a plating that the Crai cannot stand. They avoid it. But who knows how long that advancement will last. Soon we will need to take back the earth. Luckily that isn't the only advancement. Exo suits. Allow you to run faster jump higher and punch harder. They level the playing field. But they are limited technology. Launchers for grenades. boost backs and grappling hooks.
