Basic appearance: Standing at 6'1" and with dark skin, he is his physical peak due to the necessities and duties of Firefighting. He has on a leather jacket, throw haphazardly over his pair of Fireman Overalls. His hair is cut very closely to his head, with a bit of stubble on his chin.
Equipment: Fireman's ax, Flashlight, Canteen, knife
History: Working in the city's fire department, now working on staying alive as a former member of the fire department.

Kholat is approved, Matthew is approved.

Each member will be starting in their homes. They may have knowledge of what is going on outside, or they can be oblivious to it all. The power is out, cell towers are no longer operational. Hot water is still accessible, for now, but will run out soon.

The outbreak was fast, no one was ready for it. These things were everywhere, and quickly, one by one, people died. Carnivorous, cannibalistic, violent, these things were called Zombies by many, the infected or Zed by others. Civilization was on trial for their mistakes and wrong doings and this was the end of the world as people knew it.

Millions of zombies walked the earth now, leaving a handful of humans left. Small groups were forming here or there, but no actual settlements could be formed while the chaos was as it was.

After a week of hiding, or just going about life as usual for some, our heroes would emerge to the world as it was now. Would Matthew survive in this world with his trusted fire ax? What of Kholat, with his forestry skills and survival wits?

Still, no response. Kholat had been trying for a full week now but still no response came from the radio. There had been no clue as to why up until now, pushing Kholat to the point where he began to live off the woods around him. Every day, he'd travel into the woods to collect berries and although he was partly there to stop illegal hunters, he had been forced to start making traps for small woodland creatures. In his mind, he blamed the lack of supplies for this. But the thought still somewhat nagged at him as e was hunting down the very thing he was protecting.

High School student, as well as military hobbyist. She took Ken-do lessons on weekly basis, and she's familiar with basic knowledge of bows and even handguns.

Basic appearance:

Hittori is a young and rather pretty girl, standing around 1’55 in height. She’s slim and her body weight is pretty low.
Her hair is kept short, and she never payed much attention on it, so her style is pretty messy yet effective. It’s also dyed - while naturally she was dark-haired, she made it into light turquoise color. She also keeps a hair clip on them, in shape of a cute bunny head.
Her skin is pale, and she looks for a soft person. She also doesn’t have much muscle - she relies on her swiftness and precision rather than strength.

As for clothes, the outbreak caught her right during training. Right now she wears a cotton white long-sleeve shirt, long dark blue dress and a pair of combat boots that she catched from her casual clothes. She also has a material belt keeping her dress on it’s place.

- Bunny plushie with a strap to keep it on belt

She was at her Ken-dō training when the apocalypse begun,
She’s was alone for the whole week after escaping her infected fellow trainees.

As the time passed, Hittori tried to accept the fact that the world around her has changed, and instead of people on the streets there were mindless killing machines walking around. Past week left her with sort of traumatic depression - seeing your very few friends being eaten alive, or even worse, consumed by infection itself wasn't really pleasant for a high-schooler.
Now, she was sitting on top of block of flats, cuddling her plushie helplessly. It was only thing that really kept her going on - she didn't want it to be destroyed by infected as well.
She was sitting next to the stairway doors, enclosed from outside just in case. Still - she couldn't stay there for long, she was already out of water and every next hour of just sitting felt like pure pain and misery. She walked over the edge of block - she looked down, hoping to spot some stores or anything like that. Good thing that money wasn't really needed now...

Seeing to how there really wasn't much to do now that radio silence had continued for longer than a week, Kholat decided that investigating the would-be corpses in the forest. At least he could continue to do his job while whatever was happening in the rest of civilisation settled down. Armed with a knife, binoculars and confidence he moved further into the woods.

Kholats travel was pretty eventless. There were few animals left, and nothing big and mean was really out and about. The smell however, wpuld increase in strength as he got closer. That stench of death was steadily growing stronger with every few minutes he walked.

Hittori would hear nothing outside the door. The infected were known for extreme silence when there was nothing to hunt, so relying on sound was not an option if she wanted to make sure she was safe. Chances are, however, there were no infected outside the door.
