Character backstory, info, and/or personality:
Originally King was nothing but a new line of construction bots. Made to be far smaller, streamline and faster than their far bulkier and slower predecessors. Although not as strong as the older models, this new line was far more stronger than your average human worker, however they lacked a sense of emotion or humour, or any trait that could relate them to being human, leading to their faces have no facial features, effectively making them less human. King however was a lucky one, being stolen just a year after his construction, he was reprogrammed and modified greatly. With parts of care droids placed into him, giving him a strange sense of empathy, as well as more human like tendencies. It was clear whoever had stolen him was trying to recreate something, but what was never found out as King was rather quick to slaughter the human, with his self defence protocols taking over. King would of spent the next year wandering around malfunctioning half of the time. It was only until he ran into a drugged up group of thugs, who took all the time in the world to bash his robotic skull in, did something finally click for King. Ever since that day, he found the illegal and legal drug trade was a rather wealthy business. Something his newly found mind found rather appealing.
Gang backstory, info and/or general views:
- Humans, androids, males, females, cyborgs and everything in between are accepted within the Jaded void, each has the same ability to get to high positions if they try hard enough.
- Although many small pharmaceutical companies may not want to admit it openly, a lot can be found working with The Jaded Void, in cases of development or research.
- The gang is rather small, however growing fast, this is due to the fact that it has only been around for seven or so years.
Gang’s Policies:
- The culling of the public is heavily discouraged, if not necessary, as it raises eyebrows and makes them look suspicious, which is bad for business. Killing should only be done with a higher ups permission, If found killing without permission, a member can be punished.
- All members have the right to carry weapons in times of neutrality and peace, low ranks like soldiers are only allowed to carry around small pistols and melee weapons, while higher rank members are allowed to carry around far deadlier weapons, in times of peace, but these must only be used in self defence. However during times of war, this can be easily lifted.
- Drug use within mafia and within its grounds are strictly forbidden, if found doing drugs on mafia owned ground or while on the job, a the member doing so can be punished accordingly.
- Charging for androids and basic requirements for the livings are provided for free, as well as repairs and health care, however because of this, discounts on recreational activities are rather small in comparison to other gangs, around 15% off for soldiers and only about 20% Captains and 30% Advisors. The underboss and boss get it for free.
- With legal services, members of the Jaded Void get a 10% discount and a 5% discount on illegal services.
- All members are generally considered protected, with higher ups being more so. However if one can make themselves useful and knowledgeable, they may be given more protection.
- All members are given an identification mark, that being a ultra-violet tattoo of tree behind the right ear of humans, and under the right of the hip for robotic members.
- All gang members must be somewhat combat trained. If they are t use guns, they should understand gun safety, as to not hurt themselves or their comrades. They should all be combat ready in case of a crisis.
- Talk of gang activities outside of the gang is strictly forbidden.
- Sick leave ain’t a thing, so you’re not getting paid if you ain’t there. Deal with it.
