A repeated, rhythmic thudding of a hammer hitting orange-glowing steel clamoured from within the depths of the tunnel. The steel of the blade-to-be shaping into a straight sword. Work for Smith's smith.

John Smith's name was quite dull, but fitting all the same. It earned him a fair bit of ridicule from his dwarven master. In fact, he got a lot of ridicule for many things from him. There was little respect the dwarf had for elves, and most often his borderline insults towards John were on the subject of "A new master holding the reigns". How John ever even talked his way into working for the man, he knew not. What idiotic ideas he had, or what silver tongue he had.

"Blade's almost ready." John said as he dipped the steel into the water basin besides him.

"Did ya do stock removlin' on it?"

"Yes, just like you said."

"Well god damnit John yer' wasting me fucking steel!"

John sighed. He was used to this by now. Being told to do one thing and then being scolded for doing so. John never quite understood why the dwarf was like this. At most of the time, the instructions were wrong too...

John sighed. This kind of behaviour was what he'd grown used to. It had somewhat stopped bothering him by now. Looking on his watch for a moment, the elf nodded as he handed over the tongs.

"Alright sir. What do you need me to do?" John had figured just being polite and keeping his head down served best.

"I..." John sighed once more.He wasn't all that big a fan of the art, but admittedly he did know how to do the job. "Yes, yes I can. Where do I need to go?"

"Fine. Mind if I get a bow or something from here?" John already went ahead to put his hand on one of the composite bows he'd made earlier this week. "Just in case there's like... Manticores and stuff." Even John seemed somewhat uninterested in staying alive at this point.

First Zoe went looking for some armour. She didn't like the shot in the shoulder she got from Lena so some amour would be good. One problem though, it could not weigh her down. The way Zoe saw it getting slower would be worse. She was looking for something light so it would probably only offer a little extra protection but a little was enough.

Zoe completely ignored the joke and took a closer look at the hoplite armour. "Do you think I could have this under my clothes? I wanna blend in. Probably can't do that looking like an ancient Greek soldier."

Zoe looked down at herself and shrugged. "The zipper is there for a reason. How much does the armour cost?"
