Deep in the Rocky Mountains, a small team of SRT soldiers made their way up, the mission was meant to be quick and easy. Find a the necromancer, shoot the necromancer

What they didn't expect was for the bastard to have locked down the whole area with undead. Rex felt a hand grab her rope and pulled her up the cliff face they where climbing, the rank 3 that was leading this quite rag-tag team

Only about 15 feet under them there was a collection of undead grabbing fruitlessly at the rocks, trying to climb on each other and the ropes to get up, one of which was the familiar sight of one of the other rank 1s that came along, their team having been cut down from five to now just three. They already ordered an evac heli but that was going to take a while, and this deep in the mountains there was not very many good places to be picked up. The next good evac point being a few miles ahead in a flat area of the mountains

However despite the nice little cropping they had here, they couldn't rest, the sounds of other undead ahead where hitting their ears already, the rank 3 pulled back the bolt on his AR after loading a fresh mag in "Alright, we got two options, we find this necromatic bitch boy and finish this, or we head to the evac and cut our losses, honestly both sound pretty fuckin' good right now. I do want to get a bullet in the magic fucker for Ken"

"Fuck that man" The other living rank 1 said with a chuckle, though it was clear the chuckle was born of nervousness and fear rather than amusement "Did you see what just happened!? There is no way that guy doesn't have a shit ton more undead around him!"

"One to One then, hey, Rex. You've been silent, you're one of that blood gods people right? You gotta know something about undead, what do you think? Fight or run?" Leon asked, the rank 3, as he lit a new cigarette from his pocket, his old one having been tossed down into the swarm of undead just out of pure spite

Leon chuckled a bit, taking the already lit one out of his mouth, handing it over before lighting a new one for him self once again "Sounds like a plan, let's give Hell a few more souls to rip apart, eh?" He laughed again a bit

Leon was a strange man in general, looking at his armor, it was simple medium armor however it was dyed black with a huge golden cross on the chest, though unlike the black dye the golden cross was very slap-dash, like he just grabbed a bit of gold paint and a brush and tossed it on, however even more strangely his neck piece had a small white like on the front like a Arrior priest. Unlike Arrior Crusaders, the priests where strangely all about peace and kindness, which made him even weirder as he had a symbol of Arrior around his neck all the time, in fact even his AR had several things across it that is affiliated with Arror

Even worse, Leon looked and is rumored to have been a homeless man for most of his life, Rex wasn't too familiar with human aging but his man was clearly at least 60, if not several decades more. Leon had a large white beard and almost no hair left which he hid with a Stetson hat

The strangest thing of all about Leon, was despite how much of Arrior's symbols had been around him, he refuses that he believes in Arrior

However, ignore Leon's strangeness, the group kept heading up the mountain, and before long several undead came into sight, specifically 3 skeletons and 2 zombies

Leon looked back for a moment "Huh? Eh Arrior is a false god with false prophets. Nah, I got someone watching over me who I can really trust" He grinned and raised his AR at the shambling corpses

The rank 1 gulped, pulling his pistol out and soon enough the mountain was once again filled with the sounds of gun shots riddling the air, Leon's full auto spray made it hard to hear what ever he was screaming out at the corpses, not minding as his smoke dropped out of his mouth in the midst of his yelling

It didn't take long before the zombies where shredded, with the distance they had, it was a kill zone. The skeletons would have been easy to deal with but Leon stopped the Rank 1 from firing at it "You heard the Titanium-Rex, leave the pile of bones to her" He said as he lit a new cigarette already, it was pretty clear Leon was a bit of a chain smoker

The skeletons kept shuffling towards Rex, rusted broken swords in hand

The skull of the skele boi was shattered against the stone floor, Rex watched as the body finally let go fully, the body that was somehow held together finally releasing in it's place on the floor

The skeletons didn't understand her words, but none the less the other skeletons started to move in, this time together. However one stayed back as it raised it's arm, showing the pistol it started to fire wildly, it wasn't aiming pretty much at all but every now and then there was the 'BING' sound of the bullets against her metal skin

As the pistol started to fire, the other skeleton moved up with a rotted old wooden shield and rusted iron sword, the skeleton shakily rose the shield seemingly to block while the other hand slashed at her stomach, letting out a wheeze like growl as it slashed towards her

It seems that despite having no intelligence, they where made with some understanding of tactics, the first skeleton was probably just to see if anything was weird
