Dedicated staff - PhenName: Rextrixvi // Rex Vangard (Viro name) Species and race: Demon - Aimatirí Age, gender and element: 20 // Female // Fire Faction: N/A Appearance: Like many Aimatirí, Rex is completely skinless as one would expect, however with very defined and toned muscle, her eyes are a complete crimson whilst her teeth are pointed and carnivorous like many Aimatirí, her ears appear to be pointed much like the likeness of elves, and her tongue is rather snake like and long being able to stretch out of her mouth about five inches. Besides these odd traits she seems to fit the normal viro description of a female, albeit being rather tall standing at 6”5 feet tall. As for clothing Rex can generally be seen wearing camo shorts and a white t-shirt. Besides that she wears very little, usually going around barefoot, and almost never wearing armour unless the mission insists on her taking any. Background: Originally sent to the mortal plane by Krysomis in order to help followers with their senseless violence, Rex came into the world spending a rather large amount of time in China slaughtering many, however for a demon of the blood god, she quickly became bored of the endless slaughtering, never finding much joy in the senseless bloodshed. Instead she grew far more of a fondness for a good hand to hand combat fight, one not where only she struggled but so did her opponent, and sadly with the senseless and cruel followers of Krysomis, those fights were far and few between. Once cutting ties with the followers after seeing no reason to stay with them as they killed just as much with or without her, she attempted to return back to her realm of origin, in which she found herself stranded, far too weak in order to return. In reality this was no surprise due to Rex’s none existent link to magic, although it still wasn't a welcomed thing. Mocked for her weakness by the followers, and with the threat of death looming over her head due to the follower’s senseless violence, Rex was quick to escape the followers and China in general.
Travelling up through China, Kazakhstan and Russia, she soon became somewhat of a legend in small villages, as some awful unseen creature that feasted on the blood of dogs and livestock, usually ripping these creatures apart in brutal fashion. In reality she just didn't know what these creatures were and was hungry. Although she stayed somewhat of a legend in small towns and cities inside of Russia, China, Kazakhstan, it was only until she killed a family of three within Russia did she get the recognition of SPR. After all, Myths where nothing to chase after, but murders where a bit more. Admittedly she was attacked first. After that she was quickly recognised as a demon and not a mythical legend that feasted on the blood of dogs.
After running from SPR for a short time, even despite being a low priority target she was still a demon within SPR territory, she eventually came into European borders, and eventually England where she was discovered by SRT. At first being classified as a threat, and eventually being cornered by a small team of soldiers, Rex gave herself up. Yet after being brought into SRT within the UK, she proved herself to be a strong combatant, and eventually offered a job. Being instated into the faction, she was shipped over to America, in order to be properly initiated into the faction.
Before her reinstatement with regiment 13t, Rex came under the supervision of colonel Watson. Dealing with a recent streak of magical drug-related crimes in the streets of london, Watson ordered Rex to take down the very heart of this problem; Jack of cloves. By stroke of luck, And the aid if her newly attained friend Ashley, Rex beat her way through the criminal underbelly of London to take down Jack of cloves.
Once she was successful, Rex and Ashley were both shipped off to New York where they underwent their training, But not before they both receives their promotion to R3 for the hard work. Birth magi:
Absorption: By simply coming into contact with any material Rex is able to transform her whole body or parts of it into the material she is in contact with. This allows her to hit harder and take harder hits. She can seemingly use this ability with almost no time limit, however this ability is reliant on stamina, therefore if beaten down or made exhausted her body doesn't allow her to use this ability, meaning recovery time is reliant on how quickly Rex is able to get back on her feat and fight. One of the downsides to this ability however is the amount of time it can take to convert her whole body into any material. From whatever point she begins to transform her body, whether that be her feet, hands, head, back, in total it takes about seven seconds to convert her entire body. Two seconds for her limbs, two seconds for her stomach and chest, and one second for her head. Direct contact by any body part is needed for this ability to work. When transforming her body, Rex does take on the properties of the material she is absorbing. Such as the her weight changing as if her body was just a solid mass of whatever material she takes on. This makes for different materials allowing for different uses. Metals: Perhaps one of the more useful transformations, metal may be one of the heaviest and therefore slowest transformations, however it allows for strong defence against slashing and explosives, as well as being able to conduct electricity and even give minor protection against heat. However it is weak against intense heat as that may cause melting. - Birth magi evolution; transformation now extends to all pure metals - this does not include alloys - of solid form at room temperature
Liquids: This transformation allows for quick agility when in whatever liquid she transforms into, however on land she is rather slow as her form is semi "shapeless" and reforming into a viro like form is rather difficult. While she may not take damage from physical attacks in this form, magic damage is far more effective than it normally is, and this transformation is practically useless on land. Wood: One of the more dull transformation, yet perhaps an effective one. As wood isn't as heavy as most metals, she has farm for agility in this form, while having greater defence against slashing and piercing attacks. However explosive and fire is very effective against this form.Stone: Perhaps the most defensive form, while also having the most draw backs. Stone is the heaviest form, therefore allowing for almost no movement agility, however it grants great defence against piercing, slashing and fire damage. The only real form of damage that can effectively hurt this form is explosive or blunt force. Perks: Pugilist Alert Multi-Lingual (Russian) Known skills: - Power strike - By channelling all inner power to one's arms, a melee fighter can strike with all its might. This skill slows your speed, but increases your damage. LVL 1 skill. Requires 5 STR. -1 DEX, +2 STR.
- Surging run - The user runs forward with the shoulder, bursting through whatever is in front of them. Can break through minor defensive structures. LVL 2 skill. Requires 5 STR and 5 DEX. +1 STR.
- Cheap shot - During melee combat, the user utilises a cheap attack. Not very damaging, but the suddenness and unexpectedness of this generally considered "immoral" attack can stun the target. LVL 5 skill. Skill slot must be equal or higher than target's level to work. Requires 7 STR and 7 DEX to use.
- Speed time - This melee weapon skill allows the user to gain a rush of adrenaline, which in turn seemingly slows down time for the user, allowing him/her to get in more attacks and react more quickly than normal. LVL 7 skill. Requires 7 STR and 7 DEX. +2 DEX and +2 PER, high reaction speed.
- Pressuring - User strikes their opponent's pressure points either with a blunt weapon or fists to stun the opponent for one round and slowing them down for longer. LVL 6 skill. Requires 6 STR, 6 DEX and 6 PER. -2 DEX.
- Dodge - It is not just Strength that wins a fight, and this skill is one that proves it. The user makes use of their dexterity to fancily make their way out of a dangerous situation. LVL 3 skill. Requires 7 DEX. Consume additional LVL 1 skill to avoid additional attacks in the same round that would normally hit.
- Adrenaline rush - By learning how to activate adrenaline on will, the user can eliminate their sense of pain for a short time. Lasts 2 rounds. LVL 3 skill. Requires 6 STR. +2 VIT.
- Dash - The user puts all their energy into pushing their legs beyond their limit, forcing them to run much faster. LVL 1 skill. Requires 5 DEX. +3 DEX, but only towards running, for one round.
