Interestingly, her entire posture did not change, the only change being a small tilt of her head as a hand pushed a petal back in place. I am first and foremost a Flowe. Tradition dictates that my kind would lead our fellows to peace and prosperity. Though somewhat uncommon, we did experience a number of unrest. It was sometimes necessary to inflict a preemptive strike or devastating attack in order to break the spirit of the enemy. Sometimes that was all it took, other times it took many more lives until the thirst for... blood, was sated. However, keep in mind that my homeland was not a large one. Comparing the fatalities and wounded from every war and massacre my kind ever encountered, we would not hope to match the scale of death and destruction that was wrought by the General. Not if we lived in a constant state of violence for the next decade, the next century, the next millennia. I believe that over 200 million men, women, and children is something of mild concern when it means they are all burned alive. I would like to remind you that if you combined the deaths caused by Stalin and Hitler is less than a fourth of that. Fleur looked back to the Doctor, resting her head on a hand. Her voice did not change in emotion, but her eyes blazed with emotion. Wouldn't you think that after the first million that the Chinese would understand their position and stand down? I for one think so.
