"Thank you very much... sir?," Came the ambassador, transferring the credits needed for the trip. He'd make his way towards the embassy if all the needed transactions were done, being in quite the hurry.

"Sorry, my arms got tired as I flew in," came the equally sarcastic reply. "What has the people said concerning the effort? Approval, disapproval?" Said the now serious and business like tone of the diplomat, now intent upon his job. There was little time to gather his wits about this, not when the success and prosperity of a race was at hand.

"Remind me to integrate more foreign and pacifist teachers when we have a moment to spare," said he to his senator. Sighed, he placed a claw on his hip. "And what about the ones who disagree, what are their reasons? And has any other race held a poll?"

"Yeah but the other races are keep the poll results under lock and key, not too surprising, the people who don't want war ether say not our problem or that we already shed enough blood"

"Ah... at times I wish our people were a kinder or nobler sort- the kind who had more thinkers and thoughtful people." He let out a sigh, thinking hard as he went over his options. He ran a claw over his lower jaw, as if he were stroking a beard. Funny how human habits influence the bastion so quickly.

"Does the president have an opinion concerning this matter? If not, I will continue on the path that my heart feels is right." He said to his senator.

"And why can we not forego this war and instead try to make contact and establish relations with the natives?" Questioned the Ambassador, genuinely wondering how his Senator would respond to this comment.

"Well forgive me, I would assume that an army worthy of the Bastion would be able to exterminate animals, regardless if they were the Kinetic Weaponry of Humanity or anything else, really."
