Priscilla... more or less did nothing but tug her helmet down a little tighter in response to the Richie's warning. The UAF might be situated in the blazing hot desert, but it also had freezing temperatures at night. Not to mention her uniform covered her from head to toe to prevent irritation and burns from both sand and the mighty sun. As for her wings, theoretically, the layers of feathers should keep them warm for a while longer.
"Excuse me, but wouldn't the cold weather make people stand out that much more? Since we tend to generate more heat when chilled, and the freezing snow makes us stand out more in thermal vision."
