Gunblade's can only shoot once per round, and reloading takes 1 round. Can not shoot and then use sword, can not attack while reloading. You can roll half sword dice and then shoot once in a single round.
Gunblade: a large two-handed sword with simple mechanisms that allow for it to fire a single shot from a barrel set up on top with the press of a button on the handle. This allows for melee ranged shooting mixed in with actual swordplay, which will introduce a very difficult fighting style not reccomended for recruits, and sometimes not even reccomended at all for spec ops. The metal is a mix between steel and titanite, but dominant steel, to help the weights of the sword even out to prevent the recoil of the sword from creating any real damage, but also to help the user hold it. A large sword on its own is roughly 10 kilos, but adding the mechanisms required to turn it into a gunblade add 4 kilo, so the titanium steel (dom. steel) lowers blade weight to roughly 10 kilos without risking the faults that come with an all titanite blade or an all steel blade. The mechanism itself looks a small metal box filled with all the components that make a handgun shoot, the only difference being that a button on the side of the handle of the blade sets the mechanisms off to shoot a small caliber bullet.
Reloading the gun is similar to a bolt action rifle. Holds one in the chamber, and the wielder can hold up to 20 rounds of ammo on them without inconvenience.
Need 7 steel, 5 for blade 2 for gun, 3 silicone for grip, and 4 titanite.
Blade
Roll 4d6, rolling 1 or 6 to hit. Does 10 slashing or piercing damage.
Gun
Roll 1d6, rolling 1 or 6 to hit. Does 5 damage.
