His arms and shoulders shook as he carefully lifted himself from the ground, using his forearms as a support as he rose unsteadily to his feet. Joseph's chest drew a shuddering breath as he stared down his opponent, looking her right in her Oh-So-Innocent eyes. His own eyes that would have ordinarily been set and cemented with determination and resolve would meet her's. Ordinarily being the key word, for he stared with an almost primitive and unthinking rage-- vengeance and anger filling him as the sensation of burning alive left only a tingling sensation.

"When you... feel your blood boil..." He panted between long breaths. "You try to breath, only... only to feel flames burn you from the inside out."

"Then you will know how I feel," He said as he drew half a dozen knives in either hand, the look in his eyes never leaving as he stumbled towards her.

"Well would it occur to you that I am just a... kid! I am only Sixteen flippin' years old! Yet here you are burning me inside and out-- and you say that you've burned alive every day?! You want someone who is God-Know's-How-Many-Years-your-Junior to suffer, then proceed to belittle what you've done to me! Well, I don't even know what you are any more, since apparently, you seem to lack the so very important Human emotion known as Empathy."

"I ought to have known. After all, you're the one risking lives by prolonging this battle, but since you are so obviously hardened and matured after the Millennia, I shouldn't have expected anything like sympathy.  No, you must feed your grand and most righteous pride and nobility, much like our fore bearers in the times gone by. Like of the Yayoi or Kofun time period, from which you might be from, considering you are over a Millenium in age. After all, even though in your time you might have had the spread of linguistics and blood, you apparently didn't learn to place the needs of others over your own selfish need to cause unnecessary pain and suffering.  To think I had had even considered that you were anything like that-- truly a dishonor upon myself and my family, since you seem so keen to prove me wrong.. I should have never expected so much like warmth or empathy from a person like you."

"My apologies for overestimating the kindness and mercy of my possible ancestor, so sorry." He said, giving her a mockingly deep bow as he spoke the last sentence, still cradling his right arm and his face scratched and roughed up from him needing to avoid being burned by her attacks in the middle of a dense forest.

The clinking of knives impacting the ground, landing in a pile of deadly objects, was her answer.

The Athlete was silent as he marched behind her, cradling his injured arm carefully with his remaining one-- appearance utterly muddied and roughed up from the forest's shrubbery and flaura.

He merely continued walking forward, hardly stopping when Mokou had began to turn back-- striding to the front gate. He was... not a happy camper at all, considering his arm felt like it was being pulled apart by the bone.

"I'm here for medical attention, if that is what Yagokoro-san can give me," He said as he nodded to his injured arm, careful not to stare at the Rabbit version of Peter Piper of Hamlain-- for it seems that these people of this land got odder by the hour
