Forty years passed since the discovery of Crystals - strange, natural containers of energy, burrowed deep under the New Land’s surface. Thirty years from time when people learned how to use the Crystals, and what strength they hold inside of them. Twenty - When actual and proper colonization on great scale has begun. Poor and Rich, free and slaves, men and women alike - Whoever wanted, or Whoever had to. Soon, factions have been Created, Alliances defined - even if Island wasn't completely explored, people already wanted to take lands and cities from the neighbours. Not controlled by Mainland, everything soon changed into whole new world, with it own diplomacy, Nations, and issues. And now, the so called “Crystal Rush” has begun. It turned out that Crystals are critical resource in developing Mainland, and New Land as well. Many people have arrived, seeking for wealth and opportunity to start a better life - crystals can be quite expensive sometimes. The brave ones will even go further into Island, seeking old wealths and new crystal deposits alike. But beware - Ancients can be dangerous sometimes… So that's it, new RP of mine that I was talking about for some time already! You are a part of so called Crystal Rush - Sudden boom made around the special minerals of New Island. Whole game is set in Steampunk idea, so except steam, heavy stuff, Gears, and everything made out of brass and steel! Ya will fight with dangers of the lands - like Beasts, bandits, or even Crystal Robots left by the last civilization! You will also explore - New Lands are still under question mark in terms of what lays deeper in-land. Or you can just… do what you want - join the Army of one Faction and fight for wealth and glory, or be an outlaw - and steal it from others! Basically many things are still under development… you can expect changes and stuff that I will add as the game will go, and hey - remember that your actions can change the game as well! Her hair is long, curly and red, although for most of the time she does keep it typed up in a bun, with two chrome like pins in it. Her outfits usually range from elegant dresses too clothes like jackets and jeans, things much more suited for engineer work. However what is consider too be most interesting about her appearance would be the absences of her right arm, which has been replaced with a robotic arm. This arm is made out of chrome and has a gold finish on it. It may have it's practical uses, such as hiding a hidden wrist gun, and act like a real arm, but is also goes for a artistic look. Patterns of roses and other flowers have been cut out in the arm, exposing the clock work like mechanics of it. However here she can use the pins with in her hair bun too fix any minor problems with her arm. But by far one of the most noticeable things about her appearance would be her two robotic wings, made from chrome, silver and gold. Chrome for the out line, silver for the feathers and gold for the finish. All hooked up too her nerve system. These wings may not give her much in the way of long distance flying, but they do allow for gliding and short bursts of flight. HISTORY: Liz's life up until now has been an interesting one too say the least. Because being born too a mercenary mother and an inventor father has it's perks. She picked up skills from both of them fairly quickly, having a decent way of handling herself in a fight, and having a bit of a way with technology itself. Although went criminals armed too the teeth with weapons, invaded their home and shot, not a lot could of saved them. Within the conflict she lost her mother, and then her arm. Her father rebuilt her a new arm, and granted Liz her one wish as a child. The ability too fly. He built her wings. A few years passed after that and Liz finally left home, after hearing about this Crystals. Eager too discover new adventure. BASE STATISTICS - You have 20 to spend! For now. His dark brown hair is a mildly curly- about shoulder blade length whenever it is rarely let out of its pony tail-, his nose hooked and his shoulders broad. He wears a suit jacket very reminiscent to an American Revolutionary jacket- complete with its main navy blue color and its beige trim- alongside a pair of quality coffee brown trousers and a pair of black leather boots reaching halfway up his shins. From a back pocket hangs a plain white handkerchief and on his front pocket hangs the chain of a slim silver pocket watch with his family's watch-maker hallmark upon it. HISTORY He is the son of a clock maker- something that is quickly evident when asking about his watch- and is from a fairly ordinary family of five. Unlike his elder sister and brother, he sought to continue their father's trade and join the ranks of numerous generations. As you can already guess, that did not quite go to plan seeing that he has joined the ranks of mercenaries; Specifically, his father was caught in the cross fire in a battle between the Tower and a number of raiders, a stray artillery shell causing a rather dramatic shift in the apprenticeship of Eugene. Both accepted! Not that it could be done bad at all… davethehydraking Hard is an explorer's life, especially when you explore alone. But it had it's benefits as well - precious things are all yours! Good luck with selling them back to anybody. Elizabeth was one of those alone - perhaps even mad? - explorers who wandered out of the known borders, looking for wealth and glory. After all, New Land was still one big mystery, and someone had to discover what is hiding under the blank spots on its maps. ... This time it was apparently hidden hills. Semi-forested place, mix of greenlands and trees, apparently nothing interesting at first sight. Red haired girl would find herself on one of said hills. It was actually a pretty good position to scout the surroundings - and that’s why Elizabeth was standing here. So, on right… south, I mean, there was a town, little one, placed in Protectorate borders. Elizabeth has come from this direction, and right now… well, town wasn’t visible at all. And in all other directions, there was pretty much nothing at all. Just trees and more hills. Next to her, there was a plain backpack, leaning against a nearby rock. Typical thing for any explorer - durable, light on it’s own, and allowing to store most vital things next to yourself. SPOILER: Click to show - Check the Backpack and make sure what do you have on yourself once again! - Take another look around - perhaps you have missed something among those trees? - Walk back to town. It will take some time, and err… it’s not a good idea at all… Nobody Ahh, Mechanics. They had a thing for castles and forts - most of their major places were fortified strongholds localised deeper in the lands. Not that it really had many uses… nobody was really prepared to attack such fortified position. And even if - nobody wanted to mess with mercenaries. Washington would find himself in front of such strongholds - one placed in a mountain, digged inside of it. It was actually surprising how people have managed to build up such things in such short time! Mostly made up from white stone and wooden supports connected together by cooper parts, ended with simple yet beautiful decorations. There were also copper pipes coming out from random-like parts of said fort - one straight to ground, some were coming upside. And there were also some with thick grey clouds escaping to the sky… Right in front of Washington, there were massive cooper double-doors, apparently guarded by two figures of black and brown colors, holding pretty long rifles next to them. Well, time to make the final decision. SPOILER: Click to show - Walk closer and greet the guards. - Just walk straight through the doors. - take a better look at the guardsmen and the stronghold itself.

Turning around she walked up too her backpack too check what she had on herself. Sleepless nights and days of none stop traveling had a tendency to turn your brain too mush. So double checking what she had before anything else wasn't the worst idea. "What do we have..." Liz asked herself as she grabbed her backpack and opened it up. She hadn't came with much, only two sets of clothes. One being traveling, which was just a pair of jeans, boots, a plain shirt and a jacket. The other set being much nicer dress, for when she need too look respectful. Besides that she came with nothing else.

Actually, they were quite similar to each other from appearance - dressed up in grey, light reinforced coats covering them from arms to foot, black belts around their waists successfully kept the down part of their body hidden under the coat. Black boots, holsters on their right side, standard issue rifles in their hands. Faces were the other thing - The one on left side was definitely an older looking man with with thick black beard, yet lacking a hair at all. The right one - a young girl - had a red ponytail and smart blue eyes. The man respond: -” I wouldn’t say so, whole day there was a clear sky and sun was making my eyes blind. Oh there was also a pouch with some gears… 25 to be more exact. Ahh, and let’s don’t forget about Rusty Cobra Revolver and about 24 Rifle Bullets, laying next to the backpack. It was always better than nothing, right? Well, always better than nothing! 0’25 kg each, restores 20 HP if out of combat. Plain Bandage - Used for stopping bleeding. What more I can tell you? 0’25 kg each.
