So, using what I learned from EI about how to make a rp that is a mix of action and slice of life I give you... The Bastion! A space RP!
So, let's start out with some logs made by the Azalurends
Key Words: Psi - An unlockable ability for more races that allow them to effect the world around them with their minds Psi Incubator - A room used to unlock psi powers, however more often than not it ends with the creature in the incubator having a mental problem Psi Enhancer - A device implanted in the users brain to quickly unlock psi powers, however it often times causes medical problems Bastion: A massive space station that is the hub of all intelligent life, the Bastion's government is run by the Counsel and the senate to some degree Mass Quantifiers: The form of long ranged transport, these are massive space stations that use anti-mass to lower a ships mass to 0, then they fire them with a single light particle moving them at the speed of light towards the next Mass Quantifier of choice, using the ships own thrusters they reach well over the speed of light. Once at the next Mass Quantifier they regain their mass and are sent on their way.
Humans: Fairly newest to the Bastion the humans are the 8th to come. They have a spot in the Senate but not in the Counsel, they are recognized as a race that have earned their place on the Bastion but not one strong or smart enough to be a part of the Counsel just yet. Appearance: bipedal that have named themselves Homo sapiens, a branch of the Hominini Tribe. They belong to the family of great ape, as such they are omnivorous. They have a relatively large amount of variation such as fur shade, eye color, skin shade which comes in shades of brown, and the only three biological genders - mental is a questionable thing in their culture - is male, female, and hermaphroditic. Further more their eyes are small and beady, they have small bony skulls, and their skin is dry and leathery. Temperament: Varried Intelligence: Average, the concept of nothing is impossible to them; Further more they are fairly adaptable and use of Psi is capable with the assistance of ether a Psi Enhancer or Psi Incubator Body: Bodies allow for use of almost all technology; they are average size but physically they are weak Home Planet: Name - Earth. Terrestrial planet with a diverse ecosystem. 3rd from star known as 'Sun'. One moon. 23 hours, 56 minutes, and 4 seconds in a day. 365.2422 days make up a year. Languages known: Common and Human
Azalurends: The Azalurends are the race that created the Bastion, they lead the Senate and the Counsel, they are recognized by them selves as a race that have earned their place on the Bastion and one smart enough to be a part of the Counsel. Appearance: We are a bipedal race of what can be described as Azalurendoid - or humanoid - race that belongs to the Zangrapheen family, as such they are omnivorous. We have a limited amount of variations as skin color - which can be any shade of blue - is the only variation. The only gender is hermaphroditic though we tend to lean towards the masculine side with our behavior (They are blue humanoids with three fingers and one thumb, three toes, large black almost insect eyes that take up most of their face, their head being almost squid like in shape and their skin being like of a frog) Temperament: Typically calm and analytical. Can be quite egotistical Intelligence: We are debatably the most intelligent race on the Bastion, the concept of nothing is understandable on a cold scientific level but not quantifiable or explainable. We are not known for adapting other than with technology. Use of Psi is not only possible but quite strong and can be unlocked with a Psi Incubator or Psi Enhancer Body: Bodies allow for use of most technology; they are a bit shorter than average with the norm being 4 foot and 7 inches. Home Planet: Name - Centaru. A Wetland Terrestrial Planet that is 5th from the star known as 'Deus'. Three moons. 30 hours, 21 minutes, and 23 seconds in a day. 532.009 days make up a year. Languages known: Common and Azalurean
Carutinians: The Carutinians are the fourth to join the Bastion, they have a spot on the senate and the Counsel, they are recognized as a race that is developed enough to not only live on the bastion but also make choices that effect everyone Appearance: Carutinians are a race of hive mind arthropods, though hive mind is a poor way to describe them, you see Carutinians have 3 average sized 'mimics' they can make - some people rarely have more but that is a 1 in a 3000 chance - that the Carutinians can shape however they want, though the bigger the mimic the less total mimics they can hold, the mimics are mindless, pretty much being arms controlled by the Carutinians. The Carutinians have no arms which is why the mimics are so important, they have three legs, a large fuzzy abdomen where mimics can be created out of the goop known as 'mirim' that Carutinians create, they also have two large barbed pincers at the front of their mouth that is actually not used for attacking and instead is used to make small changes to mimics. They are asexual as they stop producing mirim and instead produce a baby in their abdomen, how exactly this works is unknown but they are vulnerable while they are giving birth, the birth tends to last for about 3 months. (They are basicly just spiders that can make fake people because they don't have arms) Temperment: Varried though they tend to be cold, bossy, and isololated from others - on a side note they have adapted to living on the Bastion in a odd way as they have become quite the economic power houses. Intelligence: They are pretty avarage in terms of intelligence though the concept of nothing is impossible to them, they are very adaptable however dispite this they seem to not be capable of Psi, they are a anomally in this case as they have everything that typically is needed for the use of Psi Body: Their bodies don't allow for the use of almost any technology however their mimics can be made to use almost any technology, they - when laying on all 6 legs - are only about 12 inches tall, their length how ever is about six foot. Dispite having an exoskeleton the Carutinians are suprisingly weak, relying on their mimics to do pretty much everything. Oddly enough Carutinians can not speak any language other than their own, they have to rely on their mimics to say any words outside their language as their voical cords won't allow anything else. Dispite being asexual they are typically seen as females given their mannerisms Home Planet: Name - Caru. A Terrestrial planet that is covered in a thick and hostile rain forest that is the 3rd away from the star known as 'Arthropithiea'. Two moons, 12 hours, 10 minutes, and 56 seconds make up their days. 238 days in their year. Languages known: Common and Carutin
Velocra: The Velocra are the third to join the Bastion, they have a spot on the senate as they are recognized as smart enough to reach the Bastion on their own but they do not have a spot on the Counsel, they are strong enough to join the Counsel but they fear the Velocra are too hotheaded and aggressive to make choices on the future of the people of the Bastion, there is rumors that the Velocra are planning a war against the races in the Counsel but that further proves the Counsel's point. Appearence: The Velocra are a race of bipedal reptiles not unlike the Henlans (utahraptor) in appearance, you would assume a creature like the Henlans would be a fast and smart race that choices strategy and numbers over brute strengths, well that is not the case. In the past they use to as on their planet they where the smallest and weakest creature, however when they reached intelligence and made tools they started hunting the creatures of their planet for sport, slowly their culture became less about survival and more about war, they became blood thirsty. (Basicly they are Velociraptors that stand straight) Temperament: They are the definition of a ticking time bomb, they are very aggressive and willing to kill, almost every animal on their planet are endangered due to the Velocra hunting them for glory as the Velocra are still tiny compared to the rest. Intelligence: arguably the dumbest race on the Bastion, it is an anomaly that they even managed to get to the Bastion. Thank god they can't use Psi. Body: The Velocra are massive hulking brutes, they are typically 7 to 8 feet tall, and typically x2 the weight of the average race. They are far from weak, known to - with out armor or shields - take full power lasers to the body and not die. Though those are more stories than anything. They have two fingers and a thumbs and three toes with large hooked claws on the fingers and toes. Home Planet: Name - Jurasola. A Terrestrial planet that is mostly jungle with deep oceans and small patches of desert, the atmosphere is 40% oxygen which is why the races of the planet can grow to be big, they are the 2nd from their star known as 'Murigold'. No moon, 40 hours in a day, 33 minutes, and 3 seconds in a day, 130 days in a year. Languages known: Common and Velocra
Aquleens: Aquleens are the second to reach the Bastion and have a seat in the senate and Counsel, they are recognized as a race that is smart enough to not only reach the Bastion on their own but also play a part in making choices on it. Appearance: Aquleens are a majestic race of amphibians akin to a sea serpent, they have four strong legs coming out of the middle of their serpent body and their bodies come up straight with two scaly arms out the side, they have lizard like eyes and mouths, they come in a wide arrange of colors from green to blue for the males and light pink and purples for the females, the females also tend to be more slender. They have three fingers and a thumb that are all webbed, the toes are the same in both webbing and number (Think of a sea snake centaur, that would be them) Temperament: The Aquleens are by nature calm and kind, almost motherly in how they treat others making them good diplomats Intelligence: They are a close second in terms of intelligence, they are the discoverers of Psi and have created the currently best Psi Incubators. They can use Psi with the help of a Psi Incubator but not Psi Body: They are average in terms of their physical strength and can use almost all tech. They stand at ruffly 4 foot tall and 6 foot in length Home Planet: Name - Aqua. A water planet with only small islands dotting the planet, 5th from the star known as 'Felx'. 1 moon. 23 hours, 43 minutes, and 10 seconds in a day. 238 days in a year Languages known: Aquleen and Common
Inugamas: The 5th race to reach the Bastion the Inugama have a place in the senate but not in the council, they are recognized as smart enough to live on the Bastion but not developed enough to make choices. Appearance: A bipedal canine race that are born with ether an orange or white coat, they have three fingers and a thumb, their feet mirroring it with four toes, Inugamas born with white coats tend to have bigger paws for snow. Despite the fact they are canines their face resembles felines more than anything. (Basically fox people) Temperament: Be wary around Inugamas, they are very sly and sneaky, in fact when trying to capture them be very careful to not leave any spaces as they find a way to slip out of the smallest cracks Intelligence: The Inugama are quite clever though pretty average in intelligence, they are quick thinkers above all else. Sadly they can use Psi with the help of a Psi Enhancer or a Psi Incubator Body: Inugamas are quite weak - about the same as humans - in terms of physically strength though their slender bodies do help them slip out of situations easier, further more their paws allow them to walk on all fours as well as on two legs. They stand at about four-foot. Home Planet: Name - Phoenix One. A Terrestrial planet that is on one half a mix of a savanna, desert, and forest and on the other half a something akin to an arctic, this is because of the planet's two stars and rotation, they rotated as such that one half of the planet is always sunny and the other half is always dark. 4 moons. 45 hours, 33 minutes, and 10 seconds in a day though that is to get a new star, not when it gets dark as the light levels on both sides rarely change. 337 days in a year. The stars names are 'Sol' and 'Is' Languages known: Inugam and Common
Wults: The 7th to reach the Bastion the Wults are in the senate but not the council, they are not seen as too flighty to make choices though they are recognized as smart enough to stay on the Bastion Appearance: Standing at 3 foot and 5 inches the Wults are the shortest race on the Bastion, they have 5 toes, three fingers, and two thumb on each paw. They are a near blind subterranean bipedal mammal that mainly navigates via smell and hearing. (Mole people) Temperament: The Wults are a paranoid race that moves a lot, it's rare for a wult to stay in once place for a long time as they where always a nomadic race on their planet. Intelligence: The Wults are average in intelligence though not very adaptable, despite this they can use Psi with the help of a Psi Enhancer Body: The Wults despite being small are quite hardy, capable of taking a fair bit of abuse, their bodies allow for the use of almost all technology and they seem to have a quite a high tolerance for heat Home Planet: Name - Solara. A Terrestial planet that is a barren wasteland of a desert on the surface, the ground being almost glass as Solara is the first from the star known as 'Death', the temperature of the planet during the day gets so hot the surface sometimes turns to lava, due to this the Wults had always move under the night ground the live. Now a days they live far better with moving cities always in the night. 98 hours, 32 minutes, and 10 seconds in a day. 564 days in a year. Languages known: Wult and Common
Naheans: The 6th race to join the Bastion, the Naheans have a spot in the senate and the conseil, they are recognized as a race smart enough to reach the bastion but also a race calm and strong enough to make choices of the future of the Bastion. Appearance: The Naheans are a bipedal flightless bird of prey, they stand at 6 foot 5 inches, they have large black eyes and a serrated beak for ripping into flesh, the male's bodies are covered in black feathers and the females have shades of light brown, they have two toes with large talons on the bottom with their hands having one thumb and four fingers all having talons as well. (Ostrich people oddly enough) Temperament: Kind of like the Velocra the Naheans are a warrior race, though unlike the Velocra they are far more calm and wise making for very good soldiers, though they do tend to have a obession with chancing things down and killing them. Intelligence: The Naheans are average in intelligence and quite adaptable, they can use Psi with the help of a Psi Incubator or Psi Enhancer Body: The Naheans are only a little stronger than average and their hands allow for the use of almost all technology Home Planet: Name - Sengue One. Oddly enough the Naheans are from a gas planet that has a ball of frozen gasses, how the planet has life on it at all is a mystery but the planet is full of life. It is the 3rd from the star known as 'Goblex' with no moon. 32 hours, 19 minutes, and 2 seconds in a day, 239 days in a year. Languages known: Nahean and Common

Zi'xaren: Not officially part of the Bastion, they reached the Bastion but with no home world they could not be officially recognized as part of the Bastion, they are nomadic due to their loss of their home world, living on a fleet of ships that are hardly maintained, most Zi'xaren live on the Fleet, other race's colonies, or the Bastion Appearance: How they look is a mystery, their bodies are hidden under environmental suits and gas masks as they can not breathe in typical atmosphere, the glass is very dark due to their light sensitive eyes making them completely hidden, all that's known is that they have four fingers and a thumb on both hands and they are Azalurendoid (humanoid) Temperament: They vary in terms of temperament but for the most part are calm, though they are typically seen as thieves as they need anything they can get for their ships. Intelligence: The Zi'xarens are average in terms of intelligence and adaptability though they are capable of Psi with they help of a Psi Enhancer Body: They are about the same strength as humans though a bit stronger due to their normal suits and their hands allow of the use of almost all technology Home Planet: None, their planet was taken by the Velocra ruffly 300 years ago, now all they have is their ships Languages: Common, Zi, and Velocra. The Velocra as part of the surrender demands forced the Zi'xaren to teach their people the Velocra language as a trophy of their victory

If there is anything you feel needs to be added to the bio that I forgot tell me. You can have 3 characters though one 1 character can be in any role with a limited about of slots
Down here is going to be things like fun facts, cultures, weapon series and the such, kinda the codex of the Bastion
Styles - (Not finished, this is mainly to give you an idea of what each race mainly makes in terms of weapons, armor, and vehicles but also to give you a bit of insight into their cultures)
Humans style:
Weapons: Humans are the only race to still make ballistic weapons, ballistic weapons are good on armor but are really bad of shields. They also make the best shotguns, not surprising that they would favor a weapon that works off of their mistakes.
Heavy Weapons: Humans tend to make normal combustion weapons for their heavy weapons, like rockets and the such.
Defense: They make ok shields but above all they favor armor, this is why people suspect their use of ballistic weapons is more for killing other humans than anything else
Vehicles: Humans make more heavy vehicles then anything, things like massive warships over fighters or bombers and tanks over cars or trucks
Wars: When it comes to war Humans have a very clear way of doing it. Strike hard and fast. They get in, mess up as much as they can before they get force out and come back around to strike again, this is made far stronger by their heavy vehicles and weapons. Though it does make the cost of wars for them far higher than most
Azalurends:
Weapons: Our weaponry mainly comes from our psi amps. As the highest in Psi Enhancers we specialize in fighting psi, which is why amps are so important and researched. In terms of normal guns we are pretty normal
Heavy Weapons: We don't have any special heavy weapons ether, though willing people to risk their minds for massive damage can use far bigger psi amps to perform far more powerful psi abilities.
Defense: Our shields are quite good but we don't specialize in it, same with armor.
Vehicles: Much like ground troops we rely on psi for the more impactful damage, though of course we still use guns, however for things like tanks, bombers, or main cannons of warships we will use massive psi amps that take multiple people to prepare and fire
Wars: At wars we are smart, we never fight battles that we are not prepared for and when we do we use Psi to take control of the field
Carutinians:
Weapons: The Carutinians surprisingly specialize in plasma pistols, the reason being they are cheap and efficient, while of course they don't only use them it is still one of their main weapons
Heavy Weapons: Plasma. Plasma everywhere. Plasma is the cheapest and most cost efficient weapon type and they use it none stop, mainly plasma grenades for their infantry
Defense: They have cheap everything once again, they have no respect for their mimic's lively hood, only the cost of the wars they fight.
Vehicles: Cheap. Once again. They'll strap missiles to a hover tank and call it a war vehicle. Human a human I talked to compared the Carutinians ideas on war to something in their own past, 'softets' or something like that.
Wars: Money, they don't fight unless they are sure they'll gain from it and they will defend like no others if they will lose something, it's the only thing that can bring their kind together, fear of loss. Greedy buggers.
