Empire prospers! How happy are the people of Humankind seeing the grande buildings raised up with power of infused mana and steam. They are a main part of many great creations, from portable lamps to muskets and labour machines that speeds up every hard work.
However, such blessings of steel and magic requires large amounts of resources. Shadow of eventual depletion of lands from coal and crystals hang above the nation... Of course, The Empire could buy needed resources from neighbors, and they tried to do so. Sadly, elves prefer to stay in woods instead of embracing the minerals that earth offers them. Diplomacy with Orcs is right out the list. And Dwarves? It's hard to find a dwarf willing to trade with non-dwarf. Shadow grew bigger.
There was only one way out from this situation - Militaristic expansion. In matter of months finest minds in the whole nation tinkered up ways of creating weapons that would not stand out from hand-craft ideals. Adding their technological superiority, Empire soon grew into military power with soldiers trained in use of infusion muskets and steel swords, ready to slain any enemy they would stand against.
Soon, war will start. People will die, lands will get conquered and borders expanded. Age of Expansion begins…

Ohay! I see that you got interested with the RP. Lemme explain what you're gonna be doing ~
So, the idea is - The RP will consist of war driven story of Empire Forces conquering their neighbors. As a player, you will act as one of “officers” - you will send the forces to fight and inspire them while also jumping into battle heat! Or staying behind the lines, that's also a way.
Why “officers”? Well, since you don’t have to be officer in general meaning. Your character can be more lucky musketman who managed to get higher rank in course of training and/or battle. Size of team that will get assigned to your persona won't really need a lot of specific training to command. A true warrior will know the way. ...Or they can always read the “Empire’s Guide to Leadership”. Small book, worth reading.
There's also meta part of the RP however. From time to time you will have to vote on what Empire will do. Should they slain all the elves after conquest? Use them as labour workers in mines? Or let them be as vassal nation and even create special foreign units of elven warriors to assist them in wars? Those decisions will be left to players, so they can alter what will happen with Empire and how that will affect other characters!
So, let’s move to the Character Sheet! Just post it in this thread. Remember to delete the brackets!
Also, don’t be scared if I will ask to change something. I probably will, I’m still not sure of what I want there, hehe. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, either! Any doubts should be addressed to me ~
Also! Consider some planning there. Some of your actions will be resolved with a dice roll - I will think if they will be visible or hidden. Still, I will surely take in account what your character is capable of. Don’t stress it out too much, tho.
Name:
Age:
Race: (Human/Elf/Dwarf/Neko. Sub-casts like Dark Elves are fine too.)
Short Description: (Clothes, basic characteristics, that stuff. )
Story: (You can put whatever you want there, however I would ask to put in how they ended up leading the team. Response like “Officers’ School” or “Mercenary band” are fine.)
Characteristics: (Things that your character is good at. Or bad at. I would ask for three good sides and two bad. Can be more if you wish. They can be things like “Strong” or “Weak”, “Dexterous” "Good Perception" whatever you feel like.)
Skills: (Free-Form. You can choose three, and they can range from Leadership to Swordsmanship or Red Magic. It would be nice to have a little description on them, but it’s not necessary.) (As for magic: It’s kept simple. You call your magic per colour, and add an element to avoid misunderstandings. So Red Magic is fire-related, while Blue is water. Remember that a mage is nothing without magic crystals. Later about them in equipment.)
Equipment: (Covers up everything fancy or needy for your characters. I won’t beat you for taking out a canteen that wasn’t listed, it’s pretty obvious for a soldier to have one, but you would like to put weapons and flavor items, like a specific hairpin, bag of candies or a medkit.) (Magic requires crystals to work. They act as mana katalizators. They can come up in all sizes and shapes, from diamond-like gems to finely crafted blades from crystals. Don’t except that blade to be too useful, however.) (As for weapons: Don’t go overboard. Usually two/three weapons are fine, together with some ammo if needed. If you would like to have a gunpowder weapon - remember it’s still an early stage. Empire is only producent as for now, and most muskets use mashed fire crystals mixed with explosive powder. One-shot muskets and pistols, powder mix and bullets are loaded individually. Pistols are fine too.)
Soldiers: (Fun part! Or not, whatever you prefer. Soldiers can be pretty much anyone you can think of - bunch of cavalry guys, muskets, pikeman strike force. You can mix and match them as well! Just remember that you fight for Human Empire. Soldiers will be humans, unless your character is a mercenary - then they can be of any race. Usually, you would have ~30 people under your command. You can safely bump that number up to if your character has an actual officer-like origin.
Also, remember that we talk about 30 muskets. If you want to lead a band of poorly equipped brigands, then go ahead and put even 60 of them. If you have a cavalry unit however, bring that number down to ~15 or so. Don’t worry about the size - depending on your decisions and performance, it will eventually increase! Or not, perhaps you want a small strike force after all.)
