I like the idea, I have some questions and problems with it though:
The absorption of mana; I assume this would be absorbing their aura, right? This would indeed be possible. If so, the amount of mana gained from absorbing an aura is quite high, so the current set milestones and costs are far too low. I would say the current costs should be increased by 15x their current ones. A single aura can already provide up to 100 mana, and that's just when dealing with recruits and not taking higher ranks or monsters into account.
I would like for you to elaborate on the parts where it currently says that research is still needed. I want to know the full details, even if not public. Feel free to PM me this info. For sake of ease, you should do so via the site's private message service.
I have some ideas of my own which might be implemented. Due to lore-sensitivity, I will let you know these via PM.
Additionally, it should be mentioned these creatures should have a flexible mana pool by logic. As well, they should be pure mana considering their abilities. Considering their ability to change their flesh, I would say the ability to use time magic should be left out and rather be replaced by heightened reflex.
