Avlerion would of found himself deep within the dark forest. It was an unforgiving place, where only the smallest specks of light broke through the heavy foliage of leaves. Creatures, demons, contorted monsters of ones worst nightmares lurked in these secluded lands. Yet to Avlerion, it was home. However, where he stood would of seemed far from home. Standing in on the edge of a clearing, where sunlight lit up an uncovered area of trees. The area was as beautiful as it was unsettling. Flowers of every colour dotted the ground, while the sun caused the air to glint from the floating pollen in the air. Yet there was an unnatural coldness in the air as everything stood unsettlingly still.
Yet so was the area of a Reacher...
Reacher's were notoriously dangerous creatures, being related to ents already made them incredibly powerful, however having the ability to manipulate nature around them, as well as being incredibly territorial made them a annoyance and a dangerous one at that. However killing one for the hunt was an achievement and a good one. Conquering a creature that could manipulate the environment around a hunter was a challenge, but perhaps that's why Avlerion was here. For that very challenge.
The only problem with where he found himself ready to hunt this creature, was the fact he was on the very edge of the Apex territory. Any Vultura, that wasn't a complete idiot, would know the vile hate both factions had for each other, which made hunting this creature even more dangerous.
Yet with the opportunity of a hunt right in front of him, it would be stupid not to go for it. With the clearing right in front of him, the flowers waved peacefully, which was odd as there was no breeze to speak of. The suns rays did not appear to be warm either, instead all the golden rays seemed to send a chill through the air. Nothing was right here, meaning the Reacher was here. Somewhere.
The brute was showing extreme signs of stupidity and arrogance. Despite the sphere surrounding the women, he still swung, hitting down with the point of his shield. Lucky for the girl, only a low smacking noise could be heard as the shield collided with the sphere, sending the man stumbling back, as if it was not for Astaroth's thinking, should would of been brutishly and bluntly maimed.
With the man stumbling back and falling over his own feet, he collided with the ground, groggily looking up into the sky only too see the maw of a dragon. Suddenly his eyes where filled with fear, as it didn't register that he was battling a dragon out of all things.
"Ousv ombattezc nu ragond! Ut eraisf ieuxm ed ieuxm ourirc li et ruleb ommec ont mia!" The women shouted out in what sounded to be anger and triumph, as the armoured man, suddenly pulled himself too his feet. Reaching back once more the man, instead of pulling out another javelin, took off his pack of javelins, throwing it too the ground in front of Astaroth. He followed suit with his shield and blade.
With terror sieving his body, he began to back peddle from the dragon. Soon breaking into a full on sprint, charging off into the distance. With only a few moments gone, he could be seen running, not into the same direction of his partner, no, instead he seemed to run towards the plumes of smoke, which seemed to be coming from the near by village.
