How to: PVP
PVP stands for Player Versus Player. It implies that one character fights another character. Here is some need-to-know information.
Lethalitty Typically, any fight can have a lethal ending. In the case of PVP, we leave it to you, the player, to decide whether the characters can die during a fight.
Discretion We expect players to set up rules for a fight amongst themselves. If you intend to attack someone else's character, inform the owner of this character first. If the character's are within a 5 level range of one another, the encounter can not be refused. However, other rules can still be set up among one another. These rules can include, but are not limited to: - Looting, what a character can get off the other character after the fight - Lethality, if a character can die during the encounter or will simply be knocked out - Whether certain abilities, skills or spells can be used.
Once agreed upon, it is wise to show the results to a staff member so they can make sure that if this rp fight escalates into an OOC fight, we can interact rightly.
Characters below level 10 can always refuse a PVP request.
No staff Staff will keep a watchful eye over the PVP, and let people know when they're going out of bounds with their abilities. Besides this point, staff typically does not interact with a PVP fight unless npc characters are involved.
Friendly Remember, these are fictional characters. They're not worth having a hissy fit over, nor do they deserve to get angry over. If you feel as if losing a fight frustrates you, take a break.
