Aiolos chuckled a little and went into the bathroom, grabbed the crystals and anything else that may have seemed useful that caught his eye, and went into his own room.

While Aiolos did not like the idea of being indirectly rewarded for murder, the situation had already transpired and there was nothing he could do to change the result; making the best of said result was the best Aiolos could do for the time being. That said, Aiolos still had an appointment to make. However, he had about 3 hours until the designated meeting time, giving him ample time to, for example get breakfast.

Just before leaving to do so, Aiolos sent a nondescript message to Shade confirming the order for cleaning services. “Motel Strauss, room 31. Payment can be found on the bed.”

Now that he was going to work, Aiolos put on his usual outfit; a white button-up shirt, a pair of black pants, some boots and a Lucien-styled trenchcoat to top it all. He also made sure to put his combat armor on so he wouldn’t get shot and killed; snazzy dressing would only get you so far, after all. He left his helmet hanging like a hood behind him, however, until the time arose to put it on.

Strapping his rusted spear-sword to his back, he left towards the designated meeting place.

Frankly, Aiolos was a little scared of how quickly Shade had taken care of the cleaning. Then again, given the nature of the people Aiolos had been taking jobs from, speed and efficiency were probably desired traits.

Aiolos decided to take off his battle armor - wearing it was getting a little stuffy. Aiolos hung his coat somewhere and took off his boots and socks, after which he promptly slumped into the bed in front of him. He needed rest.

Sitting straight up with a terrified look on his face, Aiolos instantly began creating fruitflies. They were given a single, frantic order; to search every nook and cranny of this room for anything out of the ordinary.

The tensed up Aiolos managed to calm down a bit after hearing the result. This let him think clearly, as well. Was he being targeted with illusory magic of some sort? Or was it just a really bad nightmare?

Aiolos stopped thinking about the subject for now and tried going back to sleep.
