When she did deploy for a mission in Australia, she was knocked unconscious via projectile to the head, fell into a stray canoe, and that canoe drifted all the way onto Japanese soil. She woke up with no memories, besides her name which was on her id tag, and an extensive knowledge on anime and j-pop.
