Background: Lucius is and always has been an idealist, since his days as a youth he’s had a vision of a perfect world, void of unnecessary suffering, where only peace and prosperity can show their faces. It’s hard to convince a person to believe in something seemingly so naive, but Lucius’s great obstacle was to raise an entire revolt against a local politician turning to tyranny to control his hometown after an alien attack brought it to anarchy, through this, his birth magi awakened. In recent years, the earth has fallen under dark times, and Lucius has been watching from the sidelines, as he led and protected his community from the chaos. Now with the most recent attack by Alien Warships, he decided that his time had come to bring change to the entire world, and become the saviour that Earth and all its people needed. Birth magi: Divine Word: This magic has several varying abilities depending on the level of power he wants to use, on the lowest, most subtle scale, whatever he speaks while using the ability (unless absolutely unbelievable or obviously a lie) is seen as the truth by any who hear it. The number of targets that can be affected by this rises with his level. In addition, if a target has a higher EMO score than Lucius, the words are only as effective as normal words.
On an intermediate level, he can speak things into being, which materialize and behave as he verbally issues, he has only reached the power level necessary for this once, where he used it to create a flare gun to alert his allies of a threat. The amount of stamina he has to use to create matter is exponentially proportional to its mass, so an object he creates likely won’t weigh more than five pounds or so. The object must be physical, so no magical effects or souls can be created in this way, and if a behaviour is specified, it must be within the ability of the object created. (a clockwork toy can move on its own until it winds down, a knife cannot float and attack with a mind if it’s own)
At the highest level, he can speak a phrase or sentence, and it comes into being, this isn’t limited to the creation of objects, as it behaves in this instance much more like a granting of a wish, Lucius is unaware that he has even the potential to awaken this power thus far, and it is very far from the grasp of his abilities as he is a level one. This power cannot break any of the limits given for cheating birth magi, including creating souls Profession: Apprentice Alchemist Level and experience: lvl 7, 1.110/1.725, 5 SP 4 - STR 5 - DEX 3 - PER 4 - VIT 8 - INT 8 - EMO 8 - SAU Inventory: worn-out backpack, currently with no supplies left, he carries several letters of goodwill from members of his community in a pocket on the inside of his vest M9 bayonet- Any soldier will find themselves using one of these one time or another. The m9 bayonet comes equipped with stainless steel, survival rope grip, bayonet capabilities and saw teeth on the back. This baby will keep you alive in the amazons for days, as long as you result to a healthy diet of snakes. DEX oriented weapon. AP 1.
Light combat armour - A kevlar vest with some pockets for ammo, mixed with a masked helmet. This armour is meant to be minimalistic, given to the recruits and the units that do not work on the front lines, but rather as background support units. This simple vest can often be seen guarding forward operating bases and low-priority locations. Recruits are often found wearing this outfit, but mages can sometimes be found favouring this armour too for its light weight which requires minimal waste of energy whilst still protecting the wearer. The SRT version boasts MARPAT camo with blue-yellow pallet. Glock 18 - Standard issue for any recruit and soldier of SRT and thus considered low level. This pistol has easy control, 19 bullet magazines, and moddable capabilities. Not very hard to use as it has little stopping power. DEX and PER oriented weapon. AP 1. Soul container - Solaris Perks: Multi-lingual (new draconic) - Your character has studied the languages other than their mother's tongue. By getting this perk, you can speak an additional language of your choosing. This does not include old draconic. Can be gotten multiple times. LVL 1 perk. Known skills: Dash - The user puts all their energy into pushing their legs beyond their limit, forcing them to run much faster. LVL 1 skill. Requires 5 DEX. +3 DEX, but only towards running, for one round. Skill slots: 1 - LVL 1 skill slot
Known spells: Fire bolt -The caster hurls bolts of fire straight at the target, causing quite the impact burn. LVL 1 projectile spell.
Attune to the inferno - The caster spends a round summoning embers to twirl around them. The next round, the embers flash up into flames. The flames keep surging, though wrapping around their body in a bright armour. This allows the caster to use fire spells at greater efficiency, boosting their damage whilst lowering their required time to cast. Attunement lasts 3 rounds. LVL 4 spell. Requires 8 INT. All spell slots increase by a level for 3 rounds.
Pillars of flames - The caster keeps still and begins to launch fire from the earth below up into their targets. These pillars cause quite the damage. The mages with big mana pools can do an immense amount of damage with this. LVL 3 spell. Requires 6 INT.
