Name: Argon XVIII (Eighteen for short)

Appearance: in their ‘default’ form, Eighteen appears to be a slightly androgenous human male, with slim shoulders, a height of 5’11, with muddy brown hair and brown eyes. They look completely unremarkable in every way, however their left hand seems to have been replaced with a power plug. When in public, Eighteen covers that hand with a leather glove - the only “real” clothing they wear. The look is mimicked from various people Eighteen has known throughout their life - to the point that they would look incredibly generic, if they were another viro. However, Eighteen has kept their original skin tone - a pale grey - as a way to signal to those around him that he is a changeling, without coming across as frightening.
Eighteen’s true form is a pale grey blob, 40cm wide, 3m long, vaguely resembling a long snake, with a power plug at the tail end and two dark, beady eyes at the other end, (and a lil mouth). They spend no time in this form unless absolutely necessary.
Background: Eighteen was born to a small nomadic group of changelings in northern Canada. The group would spend most of the year hunting moose and monsters, and then would make their way to a settlement to sell pelts, meat, and to buy supplies. The tribe would assume more conventional viro forms when going into town, and Eighteen quickly learned that covering their… special… hand made them fit in quite a lot more.
When Eighteen was ten, his band of nomads went to a remote village to offload goods. A small SRT platoon happened to be stranded there - their truck was broken, and though they had the parts to fix it, nobody in the village knew how to get it working. Curious, Eighteen began to fiddle with the truck when nobody was looking - and managed to fix it without even knowing themselves how they did it.
The soldiers were very impressed, and suspected he had some sort of birth magus. They offered to take him somewhere his skills would be put to good use, and feeling a sense of purpose for the first time, Eighteen agreed.
The local chapter paid for Eighteen’s education, and it was then that he chose his name - Argon, based on his favorite element, and XVIII, it’s atomic number in roman numerals. Eighteen did reasonably well in his studies, and learned much about Viro culture - although he never did fully assimilate, keeping his grey skin as a reminder of his true self, lest he lose it.
Of course, there are no free lunches - SRT expected Eighteen to serve in the force as part of his education, something Eighteen does enthusiastically and without question.
Birth magi: Master of None: Eighteen's left hand is a large version of a standard American power plug. When touching it to an object or vehicle, the plug fuses with the object. While fused in this way, Eighteen can operate or use the object as though they had several years of experience, making them a proficient (but not a master) in using such a device.
When touching the plug-hand to a creature's head, the plug can briefly connect with it, allowing Eighteen to gain one specific skill that creature possesses - the affected creature loses the ability to use the skill for the duration, with both effects ending when the plug loses contact. Only non-magical, learned abilities can be stolen. For example: the skill of swordsmanship could be stolen, but not the ability to breathe fire or the ability to blink.
(Obviously, as a side effect, Eighteen only has one functional hand that can be used for grasping.)

Stealth suit - Although not offering any defense, the stealth suit gives an exceptional advantage with its sleek black form, dampened soles and thermal vision goggles.
The SRT version boasts MARPAT camo with black pallet.

(equipped) Glock 18 - Standard issue for any recruit and soldier of SRT and thus considered low level. This pistol has easy control, 19 bullet magazines, and moddable capabilities. Not very hard to use as it has little stopping power.
DEX and PER oriented weapon. AP 1.
HKG36C -One of the many guns Heckler & Koch delivers to SRT and in turn to the low level riflemen. Little known fact, it can also be used as crowbar. Isn't that just fantastic? It standard holds 30 bullet magazines. It can fire automatic, burst, and single fire. A good stepping stone for anyone beginning to use assault rifles.
STR and PER oriented weapon. AP 2.
(Equipped) VSS Vintores - A covert sniper rifle with integrated silencer. This rifle was specifically made for spetsnaz soldiers who needed to perform clandestine missions during the SPR uprising, as one can still observe through the fact that these silent rifles can be taken apart perfectly to fit in a briefcase. In present day, it is typically used by Xerna mid level snipers.
PER oriented weapon. AP 4.
---Bipod - An attachment for the under barrel that allows one to fire better when standing still with a rifle and supporting the weapon on a surface.
+1 PER. Must stay still and support on a surface to get the advantage.
Perks:Changing form: Can change physical appearance on the fly, within reason of size. (can not for example change into a griffin etc)
Formless substance: -1 STR and VIT when targeted by physical damage.
Actor - You know well how to manipulate and lie. With this perk, you're more likely to be successful when tricking people.

Touch of corruption - The corporeal fragment has touched you through his disease. But the prophecy protects you. Live to fight another day.
Automatically gained upon first contact with the black blood disease.
Known skills:Power strike - By channelling all inner power to one's arms, a melee fighter can strike with all its might. This skill slows your speed, but increases your damage.
LVL 1 skill. Requires 5 STR. -1 DEX, +2 STR
Dash - The user puts all their energy into pushing their legs beyond their limit, forcing them to run much faster.
LVL 1 skill. Requires 5 DEX. +3 DEX, but only towards running, for one round.
Adrenaline rush - By learning how to activate adrenaline on will, the user can eliminate their sense of pain for a short time. Lasts 2 rounds.
LVL 3 skill. Requires 6 STR. +2 VIT.
CQC-armlock - Using close quarter combat is an essential skill for skilled infiltrators. This particular skill allows the infiltrator to, when sneaking up behind a minor NPC and keep the victim in lock. Allowing the user to perform a sneak attack, even though the target is aware of their presence. Alternatively, the user can knock out the victim or spend a round interrogating the victim. The victim is disarmed in this process.
LVL 3 skill. Requires 5 STR and 6 DEX.
Shrug it off - A well trained and hardened body can shrug off even the strongest of stuns and shocks.
LVL 4 skill. Requires 6 STR. Undo stun effect on self.
