Life. It was tough. It never went your way, because no matter how much you tried it was alway an uphill battle. Like a fish trying to swim up a waterfall. It almost seemed impossible at times. These were common thoughts David had, over the past few years. Of course having your sister taken from you and then having your father killed in a terrorist attack, did that to you. Losing two family members in under a decade wasn’t a nice thing to have happen to you. However David pushed himself on, he had to keep moving if he ever wanted to find hope.
David was in the airport, he was leaving for The University of Oxford to finish school, before he joined SRT. A stressful time in his life, for many reasons. However he kept moving. David made his way through the airport, as he went through security checks and such, making his way to his plane, which was set to leave in about 40 minutes, so he started to make his way there, pulling his suit case behind him. He pulled out his phone, and started scrolling through some of the messages as he made his way. Then due to his blind walking pattern it was no surprise that he accidentally crashed into someone. He was knocked to the ground, much like the person he crashed into.
“Oh christ! Sorry about that.” David said quickly getting up, he looked over the person he crashed into. She was young about 15, with jet black hair. She was wearing sunglasses, a sun hat, a short sleeve shirt, a pair of camo pants and a pair of boots. “Sorry miss, let me hel-” He stopped as he looked closer at the girl. She seemed oddly familiar.
“No, no. Don’t worry about it. It’s fine.” The girl said quickly standing up. She looked and sounded so familiar. It was almost scary.
“Do, do. I know you?” David asked rather hesitantly, as if he was scared, not of the girl but the feeling she gave off. It was unsettling.
“What? No I don’t think so. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to be on my way.” She said before trying to leave. She past David, but he couldn’t seem to take his eyes off her. ANd before he knew it he was walking after. He knew her. He had to.
“Wait!” David called after the girl, but she didn’t seem to notice. David needed her attention, he knew this girl. Because that girl, she was someone he knew, someone he was related to. She was his sister. “Wait, Sarah! Wait!” He shouted to her, and she stopped and looked back at David. She then only grinned at him, before she quickly went into a crowed of people. David quickly chased after her into the crowed. However he lost her quickly. His eyes flickered through the crowed. He caught a glimpse of her. He quickly ran after her, shoving past people. David was so close to her, he throw his hand out to her, but before he could grab her a crowed of people walked past them, cutting him off from her. When the crowed past, she was gone and the only thing that stood in front of him was the gate leaving for South America.
He had lost her, but he could help but smile. Because he at least knew there was hope. Hope he would find her. One day.
