How to: Special NPCs

The world is filled with many special people. Some happen to be a bit more special than most.

When you go about in the world, you will undoubtedly come across npc's. These are characters controlled by staff members, who use them as tools to create a more filled and interactive world. These are, ordinarily, quite expendable. But there are a few characters who are more special and indispensable than most. These are he special npcs, or SPC (special player character) in short.
Interaction with these characters can, if a player chooses it, be regular. They start out just like yours. At level 1, with very little to their name. But they often have something to offer. A mission, an opportunity, gear and help... The more players choose to help these characters, the more these SPCs grow. With each task completed for these SPCs, the more their level will grow. And the more their level grows, the more their power and influence in the world at large grows. So chose wisely what SPC you want to help. Helping them might have unforeseen consequences on the world, be it in your favour or disfavour.
