Stretching while getting out of his temporary bed, he quickly got himself ready before heading downstairs with his loot.

With freetime on his hands, he could now turn in the ears - however grisly that sounds - to obtain his reward. Therefore, he headed outside and went on his merry way towards the nearby-most guard station.

Lucem went straight up to the receptionist, examining their appearance thoroughly as he presented his deeds. "It is I, Lucem Superbium, and I come bearing the news that I have taken care of the bandits near the mountains." He said grandly as he took out a small satchel with the ears in it and placed it on the desk. "These should do for proof, although there truly should be no need for proof in the case of the great me. In addition, there were some red dragonkin scouts in the area as well that I dealt with. In self-defense, of course."

"Is that so?" Lucem responded, clearly quite happy at the mention of the possibility of a second reward. "And where might this captain be, may I ask?"

"I, Lucem Superbium, thank you." Lucem said as he went over to the captain in an aloof manner. "It is I! And I come bearing news regarding the red army!"

"Ah, no, not quite. Something a tad more serious, I'm afraid." Lucem said, his usual upbeat cocky tone having turned into a more serious one. "I took on the task of dealing with some bandits by the mountains, and while I was there, some red army scouts were, err, lurking about." Lucem said, not wanting to reveal the fact that they'd gotten to his targets before him.
